At Sailor Vie we want to make everyone's stay as enjoyable as possible. 

We are committed to providing suitable access for all our guests, whatever their individual needs. We aim to accurately describe our facilities and services giving you the confidence to book the right accommodation for your specific requirements.

Self catering kitchen and dining room​

 

  • We have a kitchen and dining room. From the main entrance to the kitchen, there are 3 steps. There is no lift and no ramp.

  • The table and plates have high colour contrast.

  • From the main entrance to the dining room, there are 2 steps. There is no lift and no ramp.​

 

Washing machine in the kitchen

  • From the main entrance to the laundry, there are 3 steps. There is no lift and no ramp.​

 

Bedrooms​

 

  • All bedrooms have windows.

  • Bedrooms have wall lights, bedside lamps and natural daylight.Lights are halogen, LED and energy saving.

  • Some lights can be controlled independently.

  • All bedrooms are non-smoking.

  • We have non-allergic bedding.

  • All bedrooms have hard floors.

  • We can move the bedroom furniture, to improve accessibility.

  • No bedrooms have level access.​

 

Bathrooms

 

  • We have bathrooms with a shower on the first floor. There is no lift and no ramp.

  • We have a bathroom with a bath and overhead shower.​ From the main entrance to the bathroom, there are 3 steps.  There is no lift and no ramp.

 

Hearing

 

  • The sitting room TV has subtitles.​

Travel by public transport

  • You can get to Appledore by bus and train.

  • The nearest bus stop in on The Quay in Appledore The bus stop is 0.2 miles / 0.4 km from Sailor Vie.

  • The nearest train station is Barnstaple Station. The train station is 11.5 miles / 18.5 km from Appledore.

Travel by taxi

  • You can get a taxi with Rayners Taxi by calling 07718 482803. The taxi company has a wheelchair accessible vehicle.
